Religious & Hebrew School Registration
Our enrollment process is now open and we are excited for the coming school year. Our Sunday Religious School program is available to students in preschool (ages three and four) through seventh grade. Students in third through sixth grade also attend our Wednesday Hebrew School program.
Hebrew & Religious School early enrollment tuition rates will be as follows.
Religious School (for students in kdg through seventh grade) $640.00 per student
Religious School (for preschool students, twice monthly) $430.00 per student
Hebrew School (for students in third through sixth grade) $675.00 per student
Enrollment in Religious and Hebrew School requires several components. Thank you for your patience and attention to these important steps.
In order to enroll your child(ren) in the Education & Youth Programs, it is required that you are partners in good standing at Congregation Bet Haverim. You should have recently received information about renewing your partnership. If you are a new or prospective family, we are excited to meet you! Please contact us at office@bethaverim.org or 530.758.0842. Please be in touch with our Executive Director, with any questions about CBH Partnership. Please begin by submitting your Partnership Pledge Form prior to completing school registration. The CBH Partnership Form for 2023-24 is available online.
Enrollment in Education & Youth Programs also requires a completed Emergency Medical Information Form. The enrollment process requires an updated form for each child annually, providing information to support success as well as providing medical authorization if needed. The Emergency Medical Information Form for 2023-24 is available online.
The final component of completing your registration for Hebrew and Religious School is the payment. To make our programs more financially accessible, you may choose to pay your entire balance at the time of enrollment, or establish a monthly payment plan. All monthly installments must be received and your balance paid in full by May 15, 2024. Your first payment is required to complete your registration; either your first monthly installment, or the entire balance due. Monthly installments may be paid by check or credit card. A completed 2023-2024 Credit Card Authorization Form is required to set up a Credit Card payment plan. New this year, a 3.5% processing fee for Credit Card payments will be billed to your account and calculated in the payments. Please contact the CBH Office and ask for Accounting for assistance in setting up a payment plan. To avoid processing fees, please set up monthly installment check payments via your bank’s bill pay system.
Limited scholarship funds are available and Congregation Bet Haverim is strongly committed to making Jewish education available for all children, teens, and families. Please see our Scholarship Page for more information and to request financial support. Scholarship requests will be directed to our Executive Director, and remain confidential. Please note that scholarship requests are due by August 25, 2023.
