We welcome the full range of diverse Jewish and interfaith families.

A House of Friends, A Community Open to All

We include single parents, singles, multi-cultural families, multi-racial families, gays, lesbians, transgender people, people of all ages, people with special needs.

Members Are Partners

Being a partner in our sacred community delivers both privileges and responsibilities that elevate the experience above simple membership.  While members expect service in exchange for payment, such as at a gym or as part of a club or service program, partners play an active role in shaping and sustaining their synagogue community.

As a Bet Haverim partner, your gifts of both time and treasure ensure the opportunity for Jewish worship, education and friendships in Yolo County. By being an active partner in the community, you are able to play a direct role in creating a Jewish life that is personally meaningful and fulfilling to you.

What does Partnership cost me?

We’ve calculated the total amount of partnership contribution we need to “keep the lights on” at CBH over this next year, and then divided that amount by the expected number of partner households. To pay our budgeted expenses for this coming year, we will need an average contribution of $2,250 per partner household.

The generosity of our partners ensures that no one will be denied participation in the community due to financial limitations. Our partners join together form a community that provides for the full breadth of the Jewish lifecycle. To the extent that all partners can strive to reach or exceed a sustaining level, the better prepared the synagogue is to meet the needs of all who wish to share in Jewish life as part of our community.

Please read this letter from our Co-Presidents to Partners about pledges for this year.

Partnership Form

Partnership Pledges are due each year on July 1 for continuing partners, however, new partners are welcome at any time and may pro-rate their pledge commitment. In addition to an annual pledge, all partnership units also contribute a $250 “L’Dor v’Dor” maintenance fee each year to provide for the upkeep and enhancement of our synagogue campus.

The Executive Director welcomes questions about Bet Haverim partnership at director@bethaverim.org, or 530-758-0842.
