Do you have an announcement for

our weekly e-tone newsletter?

Announcements should be submitted by the Monday prior to our Thursday publication.

Submissions meeting the following criteria will be considered for publication:

  • Reminders about approved CBH programs and events
  • Meeting notices for CBH groups and committees
  • Religious school and/or CBH youth groups notices
  • Ritual information (i.e., holiday and Shabbat schedules and details)
  • Updates from CBH clergy
  • News about partners’ significant life events (b’nai mitzvahs, births, marriages, anniversaries, deaths)

All submissions must include contact information and may be edited for length, clarity, readability and compliance with CBH editorial style.  The placement and frequency of submissions within our email will be at the discretion of the Communications Coordinator and the Executive Director.  No item will be included more than four weeks prior to an event/meeting date, although exceptions may be made for CBH fundraisers.  Items generally will run for two weeks only.

  • If on-site, please specify room. If you have not reserved a room with the Office Coordinator, please do so BEFORE submitting content for the e-tone. If off-site, please provide full name and address of location.
  • If submission is accepted for publication this information may be edited for length, clarity, readability, space availability or adherence to Editorial Submission policies at the discretion of the Communications Coordinator or the Executive Director.
    Will there be a professional photographer/videographer present to capture the event? If so, those attending must be notified with appropriate signage.
  • If this is an event not sponsored by Congregation Bet Haverim then please provide a website address where further information may be obtained by our readers.
