Hebrew in Harmony Curriculum

Dear Congregation Bet Haverim Parents,
We are excited to introduce Hebrew in Harmony, an exciting new music-based prayer curriculum. Hebrew in Harmony blends print and digital materials to create a unique and fun learning experience focused on helping students learn the words and meaning of Hebrew prayers. Quality music is the foundation of this program as well as elements of art, mindfulness, movement, and journaling.
Hebrew in Harmony also provides an online experience for your child and family. In the digital companion for each prayer, your child can watch videos about the prayer, play Hebrew games, download music, and practice reading Hebrew. The Hebrew in Harmony digital companion can be used on any computer or mobile device.
If you are interested in adding this online component for your child, here is what you will do:
- Sign the attached permission form and return it to the school. We will create an account for your child in our private space in the Online Learning Center (OLC) hosted by Behrman House, the creator of Hebrew in Harmony
- Congregation Bet Haverim will send you a temporary password and login instructions. Go to www.behrmanhouse.com/bholc and help your child log into the Online Learning Center using the email address and temporary password provided by the school. (You may choose to change your password. Make sure it’s something you and your child will remember!)
After completing these steps, your child can log in to the OLC at any time using the same link as above or or clicking “Enter the OLC” from the Behrman House home page. - After you’ve logged in to the Online Learning Center, you’ll see your child’s class listed in blue. Click on the class to enter it. Then click the green Play button.
Note: If you’re on an iOS device, you’ll be prompted to download the app. After you download it, your child can access Hebrew in Harmony digital anywhere, anytime.
