Yom Kippur Yizkor Booklet 2018/5779

Honor the memory of deceased family members and friends

Each year at the Yom Kippur Yizkor service, we honor the memory of deceased family members and friends.  The Ritual Committee prepares an annual Yizkor booklet to be distributed at the service, listing the names of departed loved ones being remembered by CBH partners, as well as loved ones who passed away during the year gone by.

In addition to names, the booklet also features the dates of loved ones’ lives, and their relationship to those remembering them, as follows:

Remembered by Abe and Sophie Katz:

Jacob Katz (1947–2009) — their son

Ruth Goodman (1913–1989) — Sophie’s mother

Julius Sachs (1917–1991) — Abe’s uncle

Joseph Stein (1937–2006) — their friend

Passages and readings appropriate to the memorial service also are included.

To include your loved ones' names, please provide information as requested below BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2018. It is Jewish tradition to combine memorial observance with acts of charity; at CBH it is customary to include with each submission a donation to support our High Holy Day services.  Please use the form below to make your memorial gift using a credit or debit card:
