Why Israel Matters: Jews are the Indigenous People of Israel

Ryan Bellerose, an Aboriginal Metis Indian from the Paddle Prairie Metis settlement in Northern Alberta, Canada, and aboriginal rights activist, will discuss why Israel matters. As he has written: “Everything that makes Jews Jewish — their spirituality, their traditions, their culture, their language, everything — it stems from Israel.” Sunday, January 27, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.

According to Bellerose, "the center of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is the right of Jewish people to have control and access over their ancestral lands.”

Bellerose has published numerous articles and can be seen on YouTube. But nothing compares to seeing this Canadian professional footballer in person!
