December Family First Friday (F3) Shabbat

The Education & Youth Department invites you to join us on Friday, December 7, 2018, for a family-oriented menorah lighting, Shabbat Service, and meal.

Community Menorah Lighting; 5:45 p.m.;  CBH Social Hall

Shabbat service; 6:00 p.m.; CBH Sanctuary

Catered Dinner; 6:45 p.m.; CBH Social Hall

Teen Space Time; 7:30-8:00 p.m.; Teen Space Lounge

Isle of Klezbos Concert; 7:30 p.m.; CBH Sanctuary

Our evening will begin with a Community Menorah lighting - bring your menorah, help us light the CBH menorah, and enjoy the beauty of Chanukah lights.

Then we'll have a family-friendly service, led by Rabbi Greg Wolfe and Dan Tennenbaum, to welcome Shabbat and Chanukah.

Our evening continues with a catered dinner from Chickpeas, including falafel and Mediterranean salads.  RSVP and payment for the dinner are required no later than Tuesday, December 4th.  Cost for the dinner will be $12.00 per adult, $6.00 per child (ages 3-12) and free for children under three. We'll continue a CBH tradition by bringing latkes to share and compare - please follow this link to sign up or for more information.

Additional Donations and Sponsorships:

These programs, with the exception of the catered dinner, are offered as a gift to our community; however donations, dedicated to the Education & Youth Department are welcome.  Please note the sponsorship levels available, with exciting premiums offered for your donation.

Please contact Ardyth Sokoler, Director of Education & Youth, at school@bethaverim.org for additional information about any of these programs.
