Please join us as Rabbi Seth Castleman will lead a text study, teaching, and discussion on the power of protest — in the family, the community, the world at-large. When and how do we stand up and speak out? What does Judaism, our texts, and our history teach us about when to speak out and when to remain silent? No previous text study experience required.
Rabbi Castleman leads a mindful meditation group in Davis at CBH every week at 7:00 on Tuesdays (Zoom). He has trained in meditation primarily in the Therevada Buddhist and Jewish traditions. He is no stranger to public protest and is a member of the Sacramento Area Congregations Together (SacACT) Clergy Caucus. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Exodus Project, Sacramento, helping people newly released from incarceration.
