Beginning Hebrew Reading Class

A Taste of the Alef Bet for Parents and Adults

 The Education & Youth Department is excited to offer a Beginning Hebrew Reading Class this spring! This learning opportunity with Bimla and Harel Schwarz will meet on Sunday mornings on April 8th, 22nd, 29th, May 6th and 20th from 10:15 until 11:45 AM.

This class will introduce the alef bet and basic decoding, as well as an introduction to prayers and songs for some holidays. The fee for this class is $54, and scholarships are available. A more-complete beginning Hebrew class will be offered next fall. Please contact Education Director  (by clicking her name) for more information.

Modern Living: Maintaining Balance March 3, 10; April 7, 14; 10:15 - 11:45 a.m. Congregation Bet Haverim is delighted to bring an offering from the Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning. "Modern Living: Maintaining Balance" will present four sessions that will help parents to find balance in their lives using Jewish texts and wisdom.
