Why Israel Matters: Jews are the Indigenous People of Israel Ryan Bellerose, an Aboriginal Metis Indian from the Paddle Prairie Metis settlement in Northern Alberta, Canada, and aboriginal rights activist, will discuss why Israel matters. Celebration of Abraham, Sunday, January 27, 3:00 - 5:30 p.m., St. James Catholic Church After September 11, 2001, a group of Jewish, Christian and Muslim clergy and laypersons met to consider how our community could honor those who had died and, at the same time, increase understanding and respect among the three major Abrahamic faiths in Davis and Woodland.
