Partnership Form 2018-2019

Thanks to your annual commitment Bet Haverim supports the full breadth of the Jewish lifecycle each year ensuring accessibility to all CBH partners regardless of ability to pay.

Your continued generosity provides:

  • Worship services and spiritual exploration open to all.
  • Jewish education and programming for preschoolers, children, teens and adults, including scholarships and camperships when needed.
  • Celebrations of simchas, such as B’nai Mitzvahs, baby namings, mezuzah dedications, weddings and other milestones.
  • Companionship, support and loving kindness provided by clergy and congregants alike in times of illness, bereavement or other challenges.
  • Social action and tzedakah opportunities that align our Jewish values with the improvement of our city, county and beyond.
  • Programs that provide a deeper understanding of the history and challenges faced by Jews in Israel and other parts of the world.

Last year we asked you to increase your annual pledge by 10% in order to help sustain our community.  Many of you responded generously and the Board thanks you for this generous response.  One key goal for the coming year is to make investments in Gan Haverim that strengthen its position as a cornerstone of our financial stability.  Accordingly, it is crucial that all of us strive to reach the 2% of income pledge level that is our fair share dues policy.  Of course, if your financial circumstances allow for a greater pledge, or your circumstances do not allow for such a contribution this year, please complete your pledge form accordingly.

Finally, the Board has recognized that our L’Dor V’Dor fee which helps to cover maintenance and repairs for our campus has not changed since 2009 while maintenance costs have increased substantially during this time period.  At its May 2018 meeting the Board voted to increase the annual L’Dor V’Dor fee from $200 to $250 per year in order to better cover these expenses.

If you plan to pay by credit card, understand that CBH bears the fee charged for that convenience.  Please consider donating an additional amount to cover that service fee. Credit card contracts must be re-submitted each year; we do not hold card information, to protect the security of your credit.

Please complete and submit ALL SECTIONS of the form below by Friday, June 29, 2018, so that your partnership commitment to Bet Haverim can begin in good standing as the new fiscal year commences on July 1st. Of course, partnerships can start or re-start at any time, but benefits could be interrupted.

If you have questions about CBH finances, please email or phone her at 530-902-7172.  If you have questions about this form, or the process for renewing or beginning your partnership with Bet Haverim, please email or phone her at 530-758-0842.
